Mobile Phones: Important and Uses

Abstract
This study is considered to be the first of its kind at Qatar university which is concerned with mobile phone and their usage by young people in the region and Qatar university.
This study has a number of aims such as finding out the reasons behind or finding out the motives which encourage young people to buy and own these mobiles. It also aims to discover to what extant young people do benefit from the different characteristics of these mobiles.
A number of conclusions where reached by this study amongst them: they are widely used by young people in Qatar university. It also appeared that a high as (41%) percentage of them own more than mobile phone, and is used for different purpose such as using it as an alarm machine to wake them up, and it used to keep them connected with their families, it also used to exchange congratulations during different occasions.
It also reached a number of conclusions such as dissatisfaction of (71.8%) of university student about the prices of mobile phone devices and the services provided by the company concerned to .
