Time and Fact in Nasib and Ghazal by  Renata Yacope

The study is based on the fact that the researcher distinguishes between nasib and ghazal as the latter was an independent type of poetry in the Islamic Age different from the former. According to the researcher, the poet in nasib describes what he sees and hears without being aware of what be describes, while in ghazal his passions towards what he sees are confined to himself and his emotional life. The researcher attempts to prove her point of view by analyzing a poetic text written jointly by Abi Tho'ayb Al-hathli and some poets of love during the Omayyad Era.. She ascribes the difference in poetry in these two eras to the following issues.

1. the new time experience, and

2.the new attitude towards the religions fact
