After Migration to the North: Reading in the Biography of Ishraqa Hamid (Danube Knows Me)

Abstract

This research aims to shed some light on a remarkable Arab feminist biography in terms of form, content and style. The Sudanese writer, Ishraqa Hamid, was distinguished by her biography (Danube Knows Me) when she narrated her personal, political, scientific and cultural experiences from a human perspective and far from fanaticism or prejudice despite the difficult circumstances that she has experienced over many years. The researcher explores and analyzes this biography from a critical perspective, highlighting the creative features without denying few stylistic or thematic defects.
