Abstract

The research includes the introduction of the concept of Time. I discuss the explanation of the relationship between time and novelistic narrative through joint elements defined by the tale words and actions. Then  I mentioned the most important reasons  which motivate the novelists and critics to concentrate on time and study its types and sections.

In this study I approach the most important manifestations of Time in three novels by the novelist Abed. Al. Kareem. Naseef, as a type of the nineties novels from the past century.

Time is formed in three time diversity, which are:

- The character and its feeling with time: I approach the aesthetic relationship formed by Time in the character’s building into the narrative built, and the changes in the novelistic character's life which are imposed by time.

- Time's direction: I approach the rising Time layout showed in the novels of Abed. al. Kareem. Naseef.

- Time's rhythm: I approach Naseef's dependence on the speed rhythm by using the two techniques (delete and summarized) to skip the tale moments and to speed the frequency of the Time text.

The study concludes to the most important results reached in the research, and supported by resources and references.
