Perfection between Theory and Practice in Old Literary Criticism

Abstract

This research sought to examine the technical term of perfection in old critical writings by following the historical approach in tracing the term and studying the technical words which replaced the term and carried its implication.

The research discriminated between perfection and these technical words. It also emphasized the functions which perfection performs in contexts and texts through a technical analytical and study. These functions reveal the fact that perfection is a technical necessity which serves meanings in order to avoid the occurrence of errors.
