Time Structure in the Novel "Birds of Carefulness"

Abstract
This paper discusses the structure of time in Ibrahim Nasrallah's novel "birds of carefulness" which was published in 1996. The time is analyzed here in respect to both the time of the story and the time of discourse. The temporal narrative rhythm is also discussed through highlighting the techniques of narration acceleration such as conclusion and narration breakdown such as scene and place description.
