Abstract
This article tackles the reflect of poverty on the artistic trait of the Abbassid poets in the first three centuries of the Abbassid era. It is noteworthy that the poets who opposed the regime were very impoverished and almost unknown. Seems that by doing so they were very much keen to raise their cause and to attract attention towards themselves.
