Arab Renaissance: A study in the Arab Nationalism According to Al Qibla Newspaper (1334-1343AH) (1916-1924AD)

Abstract

Al Qibla newspaper that had been issued in Al Hijaz on behalf of the Renaissance order of Sharif Hussein bin Ali، played a prominent and unique role in the dissemination of religious and national awareness in the Arab sector in the early twentieth century،and therefore، this study seeks to answer many of the following questions:

1- How the newspaper employed the link between Arabism and Islam in order to raise awareness of the Arab national and religious?

2- What are the motives that prompted the newspaper to connect the old Arab history and the way to the great Arab revolt?

3-Why have Al Qibla some highlight the glory of the Arabs with the assertion that Arabism is not inconsistent with the spirit of Islam?
