The Vision of Ali Bin Abi Talib in Practicing Governmental Rule and Policy

Abstract
This study aimed at investigating the vision of Ali Bin Abi Talib in Practicing Governmental Rule and Policy. The study revealed that Ali- Bin Abi Talib, through his knowledge and experience in Islam, came up with a comprehensive vision in practicing governmental rule and policy. The substance of this vision was based upon the idea of applying the rules of the Holy Quran and Sunna in both the nation and society, depending on his own scholarly interpretation in all the matters that he faced. He practiced policy from this perspective, but he couldn’t make a balance between his theoretical vision and reality which resulted in reluctance and confusion in his policies that gave his vision the quality of idealism.
