The Social Values Included in the Islamic and National Curriculum in Jordan

Abstract
This essay aims at elucidation the most important social values included in the Islamic and national Curriculum in Jordan.
In order to realize the goals of the study a questionnaire has been developed, and included ten social values: tolerance, respecting others, constructive critizism, cooperation, family cohesion, participation in social occasions, preferring others upon oneself, safeguarding of public interest, generosity, and consultation.
The sample of the study has bean taken from tenth grades books.
Concluded that all the above- mentioned values have been included in the above- mentioned Curriculum with the exception of preferring others upon oneself, and that the highest value has been the safeguarding of public interest.
