Abstract
Notes on University Education in Jordan
This article aims to presenting some notes on university education in Jordan, referencing to our experience of teaching French in the Department of Modern Languages at Yarmouk University. It also presents positive and negative remarks concerning the tasks of education in Jordan.
The paper furthermore deals with the teaching methods in education in general and those followed in university education in particular.
This will be done via looking upon some suggestions and ideas having to do with the role of teacher and the student on the one hand, and the relationship between the teacher, student and the university on the other.
Finally it studies the anxiety of the teacher who has to observe a given program and curriculum at a specific time.
