To achieve the aim of this study, this paper explains why Surah Yusuf is different from other Surahs. The first section discusses the inner and outer spaces of the story. The second section tackles the aspects of the leading characters. The third section investigates the flat characters. It is revealed that the roles given to the characters in the story are in harmony with their ranks in accordance with what Allah says in the Holy Quran “We relate unto you the best of stories”.
