Religion Harmony in Sarojini Naidu's Poetry

Abstract

 

This research aims at presenting Harmony among religions in the Indian Sarojini Naido's Poetry by investigating selected poems of her works which are translated in {The Prayers of the Nightingale }book. The research also sheds a light on the effect of her poetry in Spreding volumes of Croodness, Beauty and Indulgence among nations.

The research concludes that Sarojini writes her poetry by the influence of sufis tendency. She emphasizes the Freedom of religions and paves the way for Harmony to take a place among many local and global beliefs. The research also proves that poetry is able to make this harmony if written by certain technical, aesthetical and effective style. Sarojini by this becomes a considerable member of the global poets who stand up for "Religions Variety " like Ghotte, Boshkin, Taghor and Ibn Arabi.
