Abstract
In this article we tried to find the most sought after by Le Clezio to enrich his story the "Treasury" images. In the first part we emphasized the Eastern literary images and in the second we discussed the political and historical images in which the Iraq war is strongly present.
I tried to find answers to the following questions: Has Le Clézio sought about Petra's images and has he found them? What are the images? And why? I have deduced that the writer found an oriental images in the historical site which is considered a world wonder and he got a benefit from that visit to produce that wonderful novel "Trésor" which named after Al Khazna "Treasury" in Petra/ Jordan .
We found that the "Treasury" is a symbol of freedom and remember that Le Clézio has sought to escape modern life and find peace.
These images have generally enriched his narrative where exotic oriental gave it a special taste by mixing the names of people and places and Arab areas.
