Abstract

Many modern arabresearchers were very concerned in the ancientliterature; and they had contributed, sinceour modern cultural renaissance, in revivingthisheritage, morethantrying to restore itsvaluableside.

Thoseresearchershadworked on the oldmanuscriptswiththeirhearts and souls, because,Theywanted to create or find a connectionbetween the modern culture and the ancient one.So, this study at hand considers that the Arab critical discourse as conditioned by its relation with the European “other” and its theses of western criticism generally seen as universal cultural studies, has been remarked by the following distinctive features:

·          Ambiguity and duplication.

·          Persistent reference to heritage.

In adition to this, those researchers especially, focused on the literary works of Aldjahid;which supplied modernresearchers with a huge number of inductions, analyses, but it was very difficult for any of them to classify his works in human sciences and obvious discipline, according to our new thoughts.

Abdul'AzizHamoudawas one of thoseresearcher, who emphasized onAldjahid's method and theory, and he said that the main purpose of this interference is unjointingsome of the mental and literate axiomatic which Aldjahid was known for. so we want to deal with these questions:how did Abdul'AzizHamouda understand and approach Aldjahid's works ? How didheapply the thoughts of thisancientauthor and use them ?, and Whatdidhegive as an addition? Finally, this study also recognizes that knowledge of the “other” paves the way for dialogue and self-enrichment. Yet, as held by Taghour, “I am prepared to open all my windows for all sorts of wind provided that these do not uproot me from my place.”
