Manners of Punishment for the Governmental Highly Appointed Employees in the Abbasi Era

Abstract
Police are the soldiers who are responsible of keeping the interior security through standing g against the happening of crimes , catching the criminal and thieves, making the necessary investigations ,applying the punishments that are presented by the judges, and other extra duties.
The police in the Abbasi Era used punishment, beating, and crushing as a style of reign and authority in that era. The police also dealt with criminals, political and nonpolitical persons who were accused in different cases in the same method. The police used many different manners for those who were charged as preaching, frightening, arbitrariness, scolding, beating, and imprisoning and other different methods and manners especially with the governmental highly appointed employees.
This research will discuss a lot of manners and methods that were adopted by the police system in the Abbasi Era such as bending, torturing staying up late at night, inflating, throwing by arrows, sinking in water, destroying the sexual organs ,defamation, slathering, putting in jail and other different types of torturing.
The research will also present a complete definition of each type of torturing which they are mentioned above in details. Moreover a lot of examples will be provided to give the perfect picture for the types of torturing that were used in the Abbasi Era.
