Al-Quds al-Sharif in the University's Theses in the Departments of History in the Jordanian Governmental Universities

Abstract
The study aims to present a critical revision for some contemporary historical writings in Governmental Universities of Jordan on al-Quds al-Sharif (the Noble Jerusalem).
So, Nine theses had been taken as a case study, all of them depended on a first hand local and foreign documents i.e. The Shari'a Court Registers , and the literary historical works , in Arabic , Ottoman Turkish ,and Greek ,etc., but the researchers did not invest these sources properly , and they did not use the Israeli's and Zionist material truly.
Some of the foresaid theses were prepared in good manner, well organized, exploited their primary and secondary sources either in quality, sum, and kind. While others did not utilize them rightly, and might really be need a rewriting according to the rules of historical methodology.
Finally the study recommends pursuing the critical studies in terms of general historical writings in wide and on Palestine and al-Quds al-Sharif in particular.
